Dental Crowns (Caps)

Crowns, also referred to as Caps, are dental restorations that sit over the part of the tooth that lies above the gum and are usually made from porcelain or metal to add strength and improve appearance.

We use crowns to cover teeth that have been damaged, usually due to cracking, staining or chipping. A crown is usually placed over the damaged tooth, hiding it from view and giving the appearance of a complete, healthy natural tooth.

Bridges

Bridges and implants replace missing teeth in the mouth.

Bridges, also known as fixed removable dentures, are fake, removable teeth that fulfill the aesthetic and practical functions of natural teeth. Bridges can be supported in the mouth either by natural teeth or by crowns and are relatively identical to natural teeth when placed in the mouth.

Dentures do require special care, so be sure to schedule regular consultations with us to ensure your dentures are in good condition.

Teeth Whitening

Teeth naturally darken with age, however staining may be caused by various foods and beverages such as coffee, black tea, berries, smoking cigarettes, trauma to a tooth and some drugs such as tetracycline.

Teeth whitening is the process of lightening the colour of teeth using a peroxide-based material. It is one of the most effective cosmetic dental procedures in improving stained and discolored teeth.
